MINCO

EGGERSMAN

_

COMPOSER

PERFORMER

Ever since Ryuichi Sakamoto complimented Minco Eggersman on his soundtrack ‘KAVKASIA’, the international career of this Amsterdam-based composer has been growing fast. Together with the help of befriended musicians like Jonas Nyström, Oene van Geel, the Iberi Choir and the Macedonian Radio Symphonic Orchestra, Minco has created his most successful solo album and soundtrack to Georgia (KAVKASIA) so far.

In general Minco likes working with a wide range of international artists: Wovenhand, Blaudzun and Svante Henryson, to name a few. Over the years Minco has created most soundtracks to Jaap van Heusden’s films as well as the last two films by Stijn Bouma. Many have played all over the world and some won prices like an Emmy award (De Nieuwe Wereld) or (3) Gouden Kalveren (In Blue). In the winter of 2019/2020 Minco finished the soundtracks to the American/Dutch/Irish documentary ‘Behind the Blood’ by Loretta van der Horst that premiered at IDFA, the Romanian film ‘I am Durin’ by director ‘Valeriu Andriuta’ and to the Indian dramafilm ‘Aquarium’ by Aditya Vikram Sengputa that is part of Cannes’ Le Cinéfondation.

The coming years Minco has many soundtracks to international films and documentaries lined up that he also plans on sharing with the listeners through separate releases. UNIFONY feat. Mathias Eick that was mixed by Phill Brown and mastered by Bob Ludwig is his latest non-film work.
